Hello! My name is Julie Turnipseed and I am an elementary school teacher at Prairie View Elementary in Dardenne Prairie, MO.  I have taught 4th grade, 2nd grade, and am now an ELL teacher with many students from India, Honduras, China, Korea, Mexico, Pakistan, Brazil, and more. I love to read and wanted to create two characters that children would fall in love with and relate to the struggles that they face. The Adventures of Charlee and Magnolia- Becoming Friends is book one in the series.  Magnolia and Charlee are my own dogs who I love with all my heart. First, my family had Charlee and then about a year later Magnolia joined our family.  They are the best of friends and I hope you enjoy their adventures as much as I do. Happy Reading!
